The joint platform for cooperation and advocacy on improving the employability of young people from NEET categories in Serbia

Center for Youth Work, Belgrade Centre for Human Rights – BCHR, and Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation have launched a joint platform for cooperation and advocacy on improving the employability of young people from NEET categories. As a part of this initiative, one of the first joint activate will be the National Youth Conference “Position of the NEET youth in Serbia: challenges and perspectives”.

The platform will be dedicated to discussion the challenges faced by young people from the NEET categories in Serbia and presenting examples of good practice. This is an opportunity to draw attention to the positive effects of cross-sectoral cooperation, which is necessary to overcome key challenges, as well as to discuss possibilities for improving youth support programs.

The joint platform will address to representatives from The Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy, Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit, the Office for cooperation with civil society, relevant donor community, youth organizations, young leaders, experts and media.

The joint platform will be supported in scope the projects: My career from zero to hero – strengthening networks of Western Balkans CSOs to implement one-stop-shop youth employability model for future jobs of 4.0 digital revolution implemented by Center for Youth Work, OUR COMMUNITY, OUR FUTURE – Toward greater cooperation and youth employability implemented by Belgrade Centre for Human Rights – BCHR, and WB&T for EmploYouth implemented by Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation. The Projects are supported by the European Commission.
